When Google Calendar and MONDAi are connected, your availability reflects reality. Appointments booked through MONDAi appear automatically in Google Calendar. Personal commitments on your Google Calendar block out your MONDAi booking slots. Without the sync, the two systems operate independently and double-bookings become a genuine risk.
The connection uses Google's OAuth standard — the same integration pattern used across the GoHighLevel ecosystem to pull live calendar availability into the booking system.
Per-user connectionEach team member connects their own Google Calendar through their own profile settings. Calendar connections are per-user, not account-wide.
Steps

Go to Settings → Integrations

Find Google Calendar

Connect or + Add next to Google Calendar.3
Authorize via Google
A Google authorization window opens. Select the Google account that holds your business calendar.

Review permissions and click Allow
Google lists what MONDAi is requesting access to.

Select which Google Calendar to use
Specify the calendar for availability checks. If you have multiple Google calendars, pick the correct one.

Test the sync
Book a test appointment and confirm it appears in Google Calendar. Add a block on Google Calendar and confirm it creates a buffer in your MONDAi availability.

Common Mistakes
- Connecting the wrong Google account — confirm the email shown during OAuth before clicking Allow.
- Not selecting a specific calendar for availability checks — MONDAi may not block time correctly.
- Expecting instant two-way sync — sync can take a few minutes to reflect in both directions.
- Team members assuming the account owner's calendar sync covers them — each person connects their own.
