Your timezone setting determines when your automations fire, when your calendar shows availability, and when scheduled messages go out. Get it wrong and a welcome sequence meant for Monday morning sends at 3am. Get it right once and everything downstream runs on your schedule.
GoHighLevel's infrastructure, which powers MONDAi, uses timezone settings at two levels: the business account and the individual user profile. Both matter. This guide covers both so nothing slips through.
Why Two Timezone Settings Exist
The business timezone controls when your automations fire and what timezone your calendar uses as its default. The user profile timezone controls how times display in your personal view — what you see when you look at your calendar. They should always be set to the same zone.
Steps
Business Info or Business Profile. Scroll to find the Timezone field.Common Mistakes
- Setting only the business timezone and not the user timezone. If they're set to different zones, your calendar can display appointment times incorrectly. Set both.
- Forgetting to update when travelling. Your automations fire based on the timezone saved in your settings, not your physical location.
- Turning off all notifications. Keep at minimum new lead and new booking alerts active.
- Not testing after setup. After saving your timezone, book a test appointment and confirm the time shows correctly in your calendar.
