Before You StartHave your MONDAi API key ready from Settings → API → API Keys. Make is more powerful than Zapier for complex multi-step logic but has a steeper learning curve.
Make (formerly Integromat) is a visual automation platform that handles more complex multi-step workflows than Zapier. If you need conditional branching, data transformation, or multi-app chains, Make is the right tool.
Steps
1
Create a new scenario in Make
Log into make.com and click Create a new scenario.
2
Add a MONDAi module
Click the + button to add a module. Search for GoHighLevel — this is the app that connects to MONDAi. Select your trigger event.
3
Connect your account
Click Create a connection and enter your MONDAi API key. Make stores this connection for future scenarios.
4
Configure the trigger
Select the event that starts the scenario: new contact, tag added, appointment booked, form submitted, etc. Click Run once to test the trigger and confirm data flows in.
5
Add action modules
Click + after the trigger to add each subsequent action. Connect to Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Slack, or any other supported app. Map the MONDAi data fields to the destination app fields.
6
Schedule and activate
Set the scenario to run on a schedule (every 15 minutes, hourly) or instantly on trigger. Click Activate.
Common Mistakes
- Leaving the scenario in draft. A scenario that is not active does not run. Confirm it is toggled on after building.
- Not accounting for API rate limits. High-volume scenarios hitting the MONDAi API too frequently may encounter rate limiting.
- Using Make when the native workflow builder is sufficient. Reserve Make for external app connections, not internal MONDAi automations.
