Something is broken. You are in the right place. Funnel problems have a short list of causes — once you know what to look for, most issues take less than five minutes to diagnose. Work through the section that matches where in the funnel the problem is occurring.
The Page Is Not Loading
Most likely cause: The step is in Draft, or the custom domain has not propagated.
- Confirm the step is Published, not Draft
- If you recently connected a domain, wait up to 48 hours for DNS propagation
- Confirm the domain in Settings → Domains matches the URL you are using
The Button Clicks But Nothing Happens
Most likely cause: No action assigned, or it links to a Draft page.
- Click the button in the builder and confirm an action is assigned in the right panel
- If the button links to the next step and that step is in Draft, publish it
The Form Submits But No Contact Is Created
Most likely cause: The email field is missing or mapped to the wrong contact field.
- Confirm the email field is mapped to the standard Email contact field, not a custom field
- Wait 60 seconds after submission — sync can have a brief delay
The Payment Is Not Processing
Most likely cause: Stripe is not connected, no product is linked, or the account is in test mode.
- Confirm Stripe shows Connected in Settings → Payments
- Confirm a product is selected in the Order Form element
- Confirm your Stripe account is in live mode for real transactions and fully verified
The Post-Purchase Redirect Is Not Firing
Most likely cause: Incorrect URL in order form settings, or the destination page is in Draft.
- Copy the redirect URL from the order form settings, paste it in a browser tab, confirm it loads
- If the destination page is in Draft, publish it
Course or Community Access Was Not Granted
Most likely cause: The product is not connected to an access grant.
- Go to Payments → Products, open the product used in checkout
- Confirm the course or community is listed in the access settings — if not, add it and save
Common Mistakes
- Troubleshooting the wrong layer — start with the simplest explanation first.
- Making changes without retesting — change one thing, then retest the complete flow.
- Checking the builder instead of the live URL — always test from the published URL in an incognito window.
- Contacting support before checking the basics — nine out of ten funnel issues are a Draft status, missing product connection, or inactive workflow.
