What to Do
If deletion was very recent (within minutes): Contact MONDAi support immediately via support@getmondai.com with the contact's name and email address. Provide as much detail as possible. There may be a brief window in which recovery is possible.
If the contact made a purchase: Their transaction data exists in Stripe independently of MONDAi. Log into Stripe and find the payment to retrieve their name and email. Recreate the contact record manually with this information.
If you have a recent CSV export: If you export your contact list regularly, find the most recent export and use it to manually recreate the contact record. This is why regular exports matter.
If a form submission exists: Go to Sites → Forms → [relevant form] → Submissions. Form submissions are stored independently of the contact record and may contain the deleted contact's data.
Preventing Accidental Deletion
Bulk delete is the most common cause of accidental contact loss. Before any bulk delete action, always: filter very precisely, export the selection as a backup, and review the count before confirming. The 30 seconds this takes is insurance against data loss.
