Revenue data in MONDAi lives in the Payments section — a complete record of every transaction processed through your connected Stripe account. Knowing your numbers — what came in, what is pending, what failed — is a prerequisite for making decisions about your business with anything more than intuition.
Where to Find Your Revenue Data
Go to Payments → Transactions. This view shows: payment date, contact name, product purchased, amount, and payment status (Paid, Failed, Refunded, Pending). Filter by date range to view revenue for a specific period.
The Metrics to Track
Gross Revenue: Total value of all completed transactions in a period. The top-line number.
Net Revenue: Gross revenue minus refunds. What you actually kept.
Failed Payments: Transactions that did not complete. Track these because some represent recoverable revenue — a follow-up email can recover a failed subscription renewal.
Pipeline Value vs Closed Revenue: Compare what your pipeline projects against what actually closed. Over time this ratio tells you how accurately your pipeline predicts actual revenue.
Reconciliation
Payments in MONDAi should match your Stripe dashboard. Cross-reference monthly. Any discrepancy — a charge processed in MONDAi that is not showing in Stripe — warrants a support ticket.
Common Mistakes
- Checking revenue only when filing taxes — review it monthly at minimum.
- Not tracking failed subscription payments — these are recoverable revenue.
- Confusing pipeline value with actual revenue — pipeline value is potential, not confirmed.
- Not reconciling with Stripe monthly.
