Drip content releases your course material on a schedule rather than all at once. Instead of a student logging in on day one and having access to twelve weeks of content, they receive each module when you decide they're ready for it.

People who get everything upfront often get overwhelmed, disengage early, and don't finish. Drip pacing matches the content to the transformation. It's one of the most consistent ways to improve completion rates, and it's built directly into MONDAi's course infrastructure — the same content scheduling mechanism that powers structured programs across the GoHighLevel membership ecosystem.

Steps

1
Go to Memberships → Courses
Open the course you want to configure drip settings for.
2
Open a module's settings
Click the module you want to drip. Look for a Settings or Edit option at the module level.
3
Enable content dripping for this module
Toggle the drip setting on.
4
Set the delay type
Days after enrollment: module unlocks a set number of days after the student first gets access. Specific date: module unlocks on a calendar date — use for cohort-based programs.
5
Enter the delay value
If using days, type the number. If using a specific date, select it.
6
Save the module settings
Repeat for each module that should be dripped. Modules without drip settings remain unlocked immediately.
7
Leave Module 1 unlocked
Your first module should always be immediately accessible — students need something to access right after enrolling.
8
Test the drip logic
Grant test access to a dummy contact, log in as that student, and confirm which modules are visible and which are locked.

Common Mistakes

  • Dripping every module including the first — students need immediate access to something after enrolling.
  • Setting drip dates in the past — this unlocks the module immediately for everyone, removing the drip effect.
  • Forgetting to test as a student — what you see as the course creator is not what a student sees.
  • Using date-based drip for an evergreen course — use days-after-enrollment for evergreen, date-based for cohorts.
