A broadcast email is a one-time send to a defined segment of your contact list. Unlike an automated sequence, it goes out when you choose — for launches, announcements, weekly content, or time-sensitive offers. The broadcast engine in MONDAi uses the same email infrastructure as GoHighLevel's campaign system, with full open and click tracking built in.

Steps

Go to Email Marketing → Campaigns
Click Email Marketing in the left sidebar, then select Campaigns.

Click Create Campaign

Name the campaign internally
This is for your records — not what recipients see.

Set the From Name and From Email
These are what appear in the recipient's inbox. Use a consistent sender name.

Set the Subject Line
Test subject lines by imagining a friend receiving it. Would they open it?

Write and design the email
Use the built-in editor. Or paste your HTML if you have a custom template.

Preview the email
Preview on desktop and mobile. Send a test to yourself.

Select your recipient list or segment
Who is receiving this broadcast? Full list, a smart list, or a tag-based segment.

Schedule or send immediately
Choose a send time or schedule for a specific date and time.

Confirm and send
Double-check the recipient count, subject line, and From email before confirming.

Best Send Times

Tuesday through Thursday, 9–11am or 1–3pm in your audience's primary timezone consistently outperforms other send windows. Test your own list over time — a smaller, highly engaged audience may respond well to off-peak times.

Common Mistakes

  • Sending to your full list before warming your domain.
  • Not sending a test email to yourself before the live send.
  • Writing a subject line that reads like an advertisement — write it like a message from a friend.
  • Not reviewing the recipient count before sending — confirm you are reaching the right segment.
