Before You SendComplete domain authentication first — Settings → Email Services. Sending from an unverified domain lands emails in spam regardless of content quality.

An email campaign in MONDAi is a one-time broadcast to a segment of your list. It is distinct from automated workflows — campaigns are for newsletters, launch emails, announcements, and any message you are sending now rather than triggering on an event.

Steps

Navigate to Email Campaigns
Go to Marketing → Email Campaigns. Click New Campaign.

Name your campaign
Give it an internal name that identifies it clearly — include the date and purpose: April Newsletter 2026 or Launch Day Email 1.

Choose your audience
Select the contact list, smart list, or tag group to send to. Review the contact count before proceeding. If using a smart list, open it first to confirm the right people are in it.

Set From name and subject line
Enter the From name (how you appear in the inbox) and subject line. Write the subject line last — after you know what the email says. Keep it under 50 characters for mobile.

Build the email
Click Edit Email to open the email builder. Use the drag-and-drop builder to add sections, or switch to the HTML editor for full control. Add your logo, headline, body copy, and a single clear CTA button.

Preview and test send
Click Preview to see the email as it will appear in an inbox. Click Send Test to send to your own email address. Check it on both desktop and mobile.

Schedule or send
Click Send Now to send immediately, or Schedule to set a future date and time. Best send windows for most creator lists: Tuesday–Thursday, 9–11am or 6–8pm in your audience's primary timezone.

Pre-Send Checklist

  • Subject line reviewed — no spam trigger words, under 50 characters
  • Test email sent and checked on mobile
  • All links clicked and verified working
  • Unsubscribe link present (added automatically by MONDAi)
  • From name is recognisable to your audience
  • Audience segment reviewed — correct people, correct count

Common Mistakes

  • Sending to your full list every time. Segment to engaged contacts. Sending to people who never open trains inbox providers to route your emails to spam.
  • Multiple CTAs competing for attention. One email, one ask. Multiple competing links reduce clicks on all of them.
  • No mobile preview before sending. Over 60% of emails are opened on mobile. Always check the mobile preview.
