Before You StartYou need a published funnel with an order form page. The bump appears as a checkbox below the form fields on the checkout page.

The order bump is the checkbox below the order form: "Add [complementary offer] for just $X." The buyer already has their card out. A well-positioned bump converts at 20–40% of main offer buyers and increases average order value without additional marketing.

Steps

Open the funnel checkout page
Go to Sites → Funnels, open your funnel, and click the checkout step to enter the page editor.

Select the order form element
Click the order form on the page to open its settings panel.

Enable the order bump
In the order form settings find the Order Bump section. Toggle it on.

Configure the bump offer
Enter: product name, bump price, a headline ("Add the [Resource] for just $27?"), and a 2–3 sentence description of what they get and why they want it now.

Test the combined checkout
Complete a test purchase checking the bump box. Verify the total is correct, both products appear on the receipt, and the bump product is in the contact's purchase record.

Common Mistakes

  • A bump that competes with the main offer. If the bump feels like a cheaper version of what they just bought it creates doubt. The bump must enhance the main purchase.
  • Too much bump copy. Two sentences is enough. Bumps are skimmed. More copy creates friction.
  • Not testing the combined price. With a bump the checkout total changes. Confirm the final amount is correct before going live.
