A webinar funnel converts interest into registrations, moves registrations toward attendance, and turns attendees into buyers. Every link in that chain is a separate automation, and in MONDAi all of them live inside the same system — no Zoom/landing page/email platform juggling act.

The Five-Part Webinar Funnel

1. Registration Page — landing page with the webinar hook, date/time, and a single form collecting name, email, and optionally phone for SMS reminders.

2. Confirmation Page + Email — fires immediately after registration. Confirms the time, delivers the Zoom link, sets expectations for the session.

3. Reminder Sequence — 24 hours before (email), 1 hour before (email + SMS), 10 minutes before (SMS only).

4. Live Session — Zoom or your preferred video platform.

5. Post-Webinar Sequence — two tracks: attendees get the replay and the offer. No-shows get a "you missed it" email with the replay and the offer.

Building the Registration Page

Build inside Sites → Funnels. One page, one conversion goal. The headline should name the specific transformation, not just describe the webinar. Use a countdown timer element if the webinar date is close. Form fields: First Name, Email, Phone (optional for SMS reminders).

The Reminder Workflow

Build in Automation → Workflows. Trigger: Form Submitted on the registration form. Use appointment-relative wait steps: 1 day before → email reminder. 1 hour before → email + SMS. 10 minutes before → SMS only. This is the sequence that moves 40–50% registrations to actual attendance.

The Post-Webinar Fork

After the webinar end time, the workflow branches: If the contact has the "attended" tag (set during the live session via a tag on the Zoom attendance list import, or manually), send the replay and the offer. If they do not have the "attended" tag, send the "you missed it" email with the replay link and a slightly different offer framing.

Common Mistakes

  • Sending the Zoom link in only one email — include it in every reminder.
  • Not building the attendance fork — attendees and no-shows need different messaging.
  • Using fixed time delays instead of appointment-relative waits in the reminder sequence.
  • Not following up within 24 hours of the webinar — post-event conversions drop sharply after 48 hours.
